I would prefer the source to be user-friendly (and online), "one-stop" source for :
CCW (Licensing, CCW Requirements),
"No Retreat" Laws,
I would be required to carry CCW Permit for multiple states (although some would accept CCW Licensing from another state). I am aware certifying, qualifying, etc. for the CCW would require me to be there physically. I want to identify a source where I can educate myself with the laws beforehand, I am aware the same laws will be covered in classroom instruction. Best answer to the one who gives me no more/less than what I am asking for.

It is possible to obtain some state's CCWs entirely by mail. Florida is one. Maine is another. You need to take a class for Utah, but you don't have to take it in Utah. For Washington (state), all you have to do is show up and fill out the paperwork, no class. If you do that at the King County Courthouse in Seattle, they'll mail your permit to you so you don't have to come back for it. |
