Life in prison without parole. (Mistakes happen in the justice system and we need to allow for a margin of error. Also, punishment is different from revenge.)

I prefer execution.
I would really like to see the person executed in the same way they murdered thier victom. (sp)

death! As a taxpayer I don't want my money wasted by letting them sit in jail watching tv, getting a college education, and eating well. I rather have the money go to people in need. A murder should be put down and out!

Painless & humane execution! Incarcerated convicted murderers in modern western countries live better than most of humanity.

nobody has the right to take others life than God he created us and he takes our life .so i choose life in prison first it will b more painful for the murderer than just kill him .

Life in prison, but a true prison that is for punishment. Not the one we have here where they are treated better than law abiding citizens. Pizza and movies on friday nights, pool tables, big screen TVs, weight room, talking about adding a swimming pool.

For those who are there for life with out parole, it needs to be punishment.

OK! When i was in 9th grade i did a report on Capitol Punishment...I saw so many pictures of ppl being hanged and read vary detailed articals about what happens in gas chambers...Like one story i read about a man being put ina gas chamber...the gas wasnt gonig into the chamber fast enough and it was killing him so slowly and painfully that he beat his head on the bar behind him and died from head trauma not from the gas they said his brains were hanging out of his skull...they still do public hangings in some states and shootings...i guess it just depends on how humane the method is...but 2 wrongs dont make a right...and i dont belive ne mothod is humane b/c murder is not humane...execution is just murder legalized...no matter what what they did its still murder...so...LIFE WITHOUT PAROLE!

execution, i go by the code of hammurabi which states that you shall receive the same punishment as what the victim experienced, an eye for an eye.

Depends on the crime. If it were rape and murder of innocent children, then I support execution. If their life in prison was trule harsh (no cable, not libraries, no gyms) then maybe life in prison.

Quick Execution. Why do we waste so much money keeping these guys in warm beds, with food and television, and then complain about the national debt?

Life in prision, death is the easy way out as far as Im concerned. Life in a small padded cell locked away from everyone is what they need.

In my opinion people who can kill a fellow human being should not be allowed to live. For one thing I believe that the punishment should fit the crime. If you take a life, then you get your life taken. I also hate the idea of peoples tax dollars being spent to keep murderers alive. I did a little research on how much cash it takes to keep someone alive in prison for a year and it's something like fifty thousand dollars! I don't think it's right that a person should get to take anything more than anothers life.

life in prison so they have to live everyday watching there back and sleeping with one eye open.

Life in prison->if a mistake is made you can't bring him/her back from dead.Life in prison is a harder punishment (even the convicted prefer the death penalty). Murder is not more effective. A state that takes away life is like a teacher or a parent that says "don't cross the street when the traffic light is red/shows "don't walk" " but does it.
