Yeah, I'd say drunk driving of the ones listed.
Personally, I'd think that just plain old ordinary "Speeding" is more frequently committed than any other. |

You left out tax evasion, which nearly every one of Obama's nominees seems to have committed! And THESE are the Democrat good-guys. Just imagine what the evil Republicans must be getting away with! |

simple possession of a controlled substance.
Millions of people are in continuous violation, so they are committing the crime every millisecond.
None of the listed crimes can come close in terms of frequency of commission, even though police detection is far less frequent, and in many cases unreported.
Of the incidents listed I would say C is the highest incidence, far higher than report statistics would indicate. Because C by inference includes A, A could not be the highest incidence.
C also includes some occurrences of D but there is such a large area of non-overlap that one would not conclude anything from that.
Because many incidents of B also overlap on C, we might assume that C may be the higher. But the incidence of B is far greater than the crime statistics tell us. Most drunk drivers still get away with the offense just as most drunk abusers get away with a lot of abusing.
We simply have no way to reliably establish whether B or C would be the highest other than by taking conviction reports as the whole story. |

I would say drunk driving. Remember, not all people who drive under the influence are always caught and ticketed. Today is Friday, go to any bar or nightclub, and I would be willing to bet the ranch that at least half the people who drive away after a few hours there would blow at least a .08. |

I'm sure it's B. Although, judging from the frequency of questions about it on YA!, ("I'm 21 and dating a girl who's 16 . . .") I bet statutory rape isn't far behind. |

None on that list, but within that list, I would pick B. |

None of those. Most people in prison are there for drug-related charges...like possession or manufacturing. I'd also have to say Theft is probably the most frequently commited crime, which most of the time is commited by a drug addict.
Of the 4 you put I'd say B. DUII...think of all the people that get away with it also...it happens all the time in every city across America. |

Of the ones on your list, i'd bet drunk driving is the most common. However, in general, breaking the speed limit has GOT to be the most committed crime in America. |
