I am very against abortion. Just think about the poor babies being ripped apart inside the "mother". I am a male so I really can't say alot, but I believe abortion is going against what God wants. I think all "women" that have abortions should have the same thing done to them. If that happened there would be alot less abortions. I also think all these liberals in government that salivate when they hear the word abortion will all rot in hell. If I were a woman I'd love to have kids, I could never consider an abortion. It is a crime of convenience. The women who are impregnated, and have an abortion, will get theirs, by the hand of God and hopefully their disgusted peers.Long live John Eric Rudolph, if you don't know who this patriot is, look his name up, he did alot for the pro-life cause. He is a saint. |

That's a very simplistic view of the issue. |

well, I agree with your point, but that really isn't abortion that you are describing. you are describing "irresponsibility." I am definitely against "irresponsibility." I think most people are. |

Well its obvious who you will pick as your top answer.. the one who agrees with your opinion the most. I ~believe~ in abortion in the sense that it happens and is sometimes necessary to save life. But it mustn't be used to make your life more convienient. |

I do. And why shouldn't she be able to cover up her mistake? BTW do you know the percentage of women who simply hop into bed and then use abortion as birth control? It's expensive, painful, and inconvenient. Especially when one can get a pill to be sterile for 1 whol year.
Of course, it happens, but to ban it from everyone b/c it "bothers' you is ridiculous. |

Abortion isn't a "belief" -- it exists. There's nothing to believe or not believe.
If you don't like the idea of an abortion, don't have one. It's your choice -- the supreme court of the US has guaranteed that you have that choice.
But just because you don't like something doesn't give you the right to take that choice away from everyone else.
That's like me saying I don't like your hair color...so I demand that you make it some other color simply because I don't like it. Do I have that right? No? Neither do you have the right to make choices for other people -- it's the LAW. |

I believe that a woman has the right to choose. There can be a myriad of reasons for having an abortion that have nothing to do with making a mistake. Rape, incest, birth defects, health risks to the mothers, just to name a few. I don't feel that someone has the right to tell me what I can and can't do with my body....Period! |

I think it is the most despicable act a person can do it is Murder. I know all those poor babies are with Jesus. I hope more people would realize what a sad epidemic it is in our country. |

Abortion lowers crime rates. It's a fact proven to be true by looking a crime rates drop when abortion was legal.
Unwanted kids aren't mis treated and abused and don't grow up to be criminals.
Read the book FREAKONOMICS. You'll like it, I sure did. |

I believe that abortion is a woman's choice, and that Congress shouldn't have any say in legislating as to the legality pertaining to her choice. |

I personally would NOT have an abortion. But who am I to judge someone? They are the one that are going to have to live with it not me.And if you make it illegal then there will be ALOT of women dying because they are still going to get it done.
But in alot of case for a women's safety they need an abortion. Not everyone can stay pregnant and just give there kids up for adoption. So I just feel that if you are against it then that is your right and opion to be against it.But for ALOT of women's safety don't try and make it go back to being illegal. |

I don't necessarily think one can 'believe in' abortion, but one could support the action of abortion or not. For myself, I am pro-choice. I believe a woman should be given the right. However, if I were ever in a situation, I don't think I could bring myself do to it.
I really don't think there will ever be a correct answer to this question. |

I don't. Abortion is always wrong, even in the case of rape. Remember, the baby is innocent and does not deserve to die for the crime of her father. Furthermore, abortion only increases the trauma and grief of a woman who has been raped. It doesn't erase the fact of her rape, but only turns her into an aggressor, violently hurting someone else the way she was hurt. Rape is bad. Murder is worse.

I think that a woman should have the right to choose - it is her body also she would be the one taking care of the child. If she doesn't want the child and isn't going to take care of herself or the baby - then why make the child suffer.
I personally would never have an abortion, but I think a woman should be allowed to decide |

I don't believe in abortion. But I do believe that if you need to have one, you should be allowed. Not every abortion is a matter of covering a mistake. But where humans are involved a do-over is sometimes necessary.
Also from a tax payer point of view, less of it is used to help you pay for your contraceptives and/or abortion, than if it were used to help you raise your child. |

I agree with you whole heartedly. I understand that for a lot of women who are preganant the best option for them is not to have the child. However, they can give birth and put the child up for adoption. There are thousands of childless couples who would do anything for a child.
However, abortion allows for people to conceal their preganancy, and enables them to avoid the social stigma by disposing of the child without anyone knowing.
I'm not against abortion per se but I think that in a lot of cases, adoption is possible but the woman doesn't want anyone to know that she is pregnant. It's all about covering up..... |

The people who believe in it are heartless. It's murder. You just pay someone to do it for you. It's understandable if the child or mother will die because of the birth but that's it. And no I don't agree with Rape case's either. Give them up for adoption if you don't want to have the child. That child deserves a chance to live. They didn't ask to be concieved. |

A woman should be able to decide what to do with her own life and that of a child to come. I know quite a few women who should never have been mothers to begin with. I for myself could not go the way of an abortion but that is my decision. I should be able to make a decision on my own without the law interfering. |

Me.
Look at the scum roaming our streets. Unwanted, Fatherless, out of control, no respect for their own lives let alone anyone else. Parasites who contribute nothing but pain and suffering on our society.
Instead of paying 100s of millions to keep this trash in the prisons where they all end up, we should have had them aborted.
Sterilize the ghetto trash NOW.
Any of this trash who slips trough the net should be forced to have an abortion then sterilised. |

I agree with you, by legalizing abortion it does nothing to pronmote personal responsibility.
I am also tired of being told I need to feel sorry for these women who have abortions.
Don't do the crime, if you can't do the time! |

Erm I agree with it because a child who is born from someone who sleeps around don't deserve a life with a mum that sleeps around plus you know accidents etc it's all cruel to the fetus but you know. |
