Who else thinks the Black College Fund is Racist and Discriminatory? Is there a White College Fund in place?if

Ther is not a white college fund out there because people believe that to be racist and they think that there are a lot of white people out there and they all think that white people are rich and have some kind of money which is not true at all.

Someone wanted to create a White Student Union at my school because we dont have a lot of white people that go there, we are one of the minorites. But the school said we couldnt. But we have a black student union

well according to peace warrior all whites should just roll over and play dead. i guess he figures we owe them for 100s of years of suffrage. its tree huggin wack jobs like him that make you want to throw yourself into on coming traffic. because no matter what we do it will never be enough for left winged loons like him or it or what ever it calls itself. your right in how you feel. were wasting money on the minority crap more like force feeding it to us.yet the majority of america get zilch. what this country needs is a wakeup call from its people.

of course I do just as I believe affirmative action is racist , all of these organization were set up to give the blacks a head start because of slavery , well slavery has been over for years and years now , its time they stand in the same line like the rest of us .

There is a double standard in this country. If you are a white you do not get away with what you say, if you are black, you can say what you want. Just look at the comments of Mr. Sharpton against presidential candidate Mitt Romney. After all he said and did to Imus too. What about all they were going to do to even the playing field and go after the record industry? It has been a joke. Mr Sharpton is a joke. Jesse Jackson is a joke. They just jump on topics that they can use to further whatever their current agenda is. With Imus it was the fact that there are no major black newscasters with their own show....all the rest was rhetoric. I do not care to hear Mr Sharptons sorry excuses for his comments. Whether he meant to insult Romney is not the issue, the issue is that something he said did insult him. Just be a human being and apologize ( Like Imus did so gracefully). In answer to your question there can be nothing white. I had a friend that wanted to have a white pride day....she is not a racist....but of course she was called one. There can be black pride, hispanic pride, Islamist pride, black tv, muslim tv, and so and so on. Call anything specifically white and everyone starts screaming. Oh and don't bother to call me a racist either because I am not...what I am is sick of being polictically correct and holding my tongue.

Anything that segregates one race from another is racist and discriminatory! That's one reason affirmative action is wrong. They pick people based on race, not performance.

Black can be Racist and Discriminatory because they blame slavery and the government is to afraid on them to do nothing.
Why does 12% of the US population has some much control and everything is giving to them. Most are on some type of government assistance , responsible for most of the crimes in this country, and the lowest productive.

I worked in John Morrell Packing house for several years. You know, one of those jobs the white people won't do, according to the illegals. Geez, it was all white people working there at that time. Imagine that.
Anyhow, here is a true story. When you worked there if you couldn't work like a dog on the lines and keep up, to bad, you were fired. Well, a black lady came to work there. She would not work like we did, she did not ever keep up on the lines, they would have to send her a helper. She blatantly would say, "I'm not working like a dog, and they can't do a thing about it, if they try and fire me, I'll have a law suit against them for discrimination." They never fired her and she knew she could play the race card to the hilt and did. Was that fair to the white people? No, but all things in life are apparently not fair.

I don't think things like the UNCF or BCF were meant to be racist or discriminatory in any way. It was meant to encourage poor minorities to go to college and get an education because they were being badly underrepresented in places of higher education. I'm white by the way, and about as normal of a white person as possible. So, you might have already guessed it, that eliminates about half of the higher education aid I might have gotten if I were a minority. I'm trying to make it through college right now, I don't know where I'm going to get the funds when I transfer to a four year school next year.

Liberal support of such Racism has nothing to do with their "Empathy" towards an abused race. It is all about keeping a group or groups of people hand outs so they can succle off the Government. Then tell them everyone else is Racist, which in turn get them the only thing a Liberal craves.....VOTES and POWER........

If you will excuse the term, it is a completely "blackwards" mindset that says "because your skin pigment is dark, you deserve our money." On the other hand these aren't federal funds that we are talking about. Regardless of the flawed mindset, so long as I'm not paying for it with my college tuition, or my tax dollars, they can do whatever they want.

Equal protedction only applies when the government discriminates. Individuals can (or at least should be able to) discriminate on whatever basis they choose. So, feel free to start the white college fund if you want. Though, you might not want to put that on your resume.

I'm of a different opinion than most of your answers. I see a black college fund as racist. I also support their right to be racist. I value freedom that highly. If people want to donate to a racist institution, they should be able to. The Government sticks it's filthy finger way too far into the private lives and thoughts of it's citizens as it is. I would never support a white college fund because it would be racist and bigoted. But if racist bigoted black people want to support such a fund I have no objection. Now, on the other hand, If the black college fund was used to harm white people or any other race, I Would have a problem with it. as long as the money is used to do good, I support the fund.

Malik you're just so.....stupid. do you really believe that all white people are rich due to money made hundreds of years ago off of slavery? No one alive today had anything to do with it so just get over it. You weren't a slave. People should stop altering history to suit the special interests and focus on the problems of today such as the failing economy, and the fact that the country is falling apart. As for this issue yes black college funds are extremely racist just as all afirmative action is. Why should we the people who had absolutely nothing to do with slavery have to foot the bill for those whose ancestors may or may not have been slaves but can't get over it? I wish that we could have true equality, where no one is ever asked their race on applications, where people don't willingly give up their rights to be politically correct, and where everyone has equal oppurtunity.
