Who is authorized to Legally break into my home?

Yesterday a bail bondsmen said that if I didn't open the door he would force his way through and even kill me if I resisted. I told him I'd call 911 first but he insisted I open the door first. I didn't, called 911 and 15 minutes later the cops came. In the meantime I was telling the bail bondsmen that if they came inside by force I would start shooting. The bailbondmen insists he has every right to break in at will. How true is this? Who can actually do this without waiting for 911 local cops to come and assist?
Additional Details
The BailBondmen were looking for someone that is a family member but doesn't live with me. I also told them that he was not inside my home and he didn't live here.

It was a bluff. He can't break in.

If that happens again just call the cops right away.. The bail bondsmen cannot legally break into your home. If you were the cosigner for the bond and signed a paper saying they could search your house that is the only way that they can come in.

The only people who have a right to break into your home are those who have a legal search warrant or have a reasonable cause. Your relation to the wanted man is not a reasonable cause.
