Hear-hear. If more people 'hit back' there would be a slight drop in crime 'cos the crims would finally realise there will be repercussions from their actions!!!
But unfortunately British law is on the side of the crims.
Britons biggest criminal is the legal system. :-( |

I would have been behind him even if he'd beaten the cr*p out of them, because they know they are untouchable and act accordingly. Adults are no longer given any respect from people like that, because they have no deterrent for their bad behaviour. I'd like to see abusive youth's forced into national service until such times as they could treat others with respect. I'm sick of seeing good people punished harshly for stupid things while real criminals are given kind words of warning about their behaviour. |

If he slapped a hooligan, then yes, he's a hero in my book. Can you provide a link, I haven't seen this new story? |

He didn't take the law into his own hands ! (Sshhhhh.... otherwise the PC Mob will be breathing down his neck). All he did was to grab and Asbo-kid by the scruff of his neck, and politely tell him where he could put the Asbo !!
Funny how, if the kids were just doing nothing.... and they videoed the incident on their mobiles, it has not surfaced on the net. It's because they WERE in the wrong.
Go Clarkson... Go. just wish more would stand up for their rights. |

Hi,read the link he is not getting anything done to him.Yes I back him however if it was me who had done it I would be facing charges. |

Sounds like he did the right thing, it is that way here also I just laugh at them. |

yes i think he was right, like his idea for sticking them in a classroom together and letting the teacher do what he wants with no reprisals, go clarckson |
|

redbandgirl

I think he was quite in his rights to do what he did!!!
Sadly we live in an age where the victims of abuse or crime when standing up to these little thugs are the ones who are breaking the law!!!
Thankfully Jeremy was'nt hurt but it could so easily have gone that way!!
I think he is a hero!! |

I can't stand Clarkson. But I'm with him on this one. He's a big bloke too, I wouldn't fancy getting a slap or whatever from him! |

Here's the link if anyone wants to read it:

Of course he was right, and total respect to him because too many people just walk away from troublemakers these days. I think he was very restrained actually! :o) |

Can you read this'
You do- gooders
You of the anti smacking brigade
are you reading these answers?
This is the response of people who are sick to death
of those brats who rule by anti social behaviour
I posted a letter some months ago, demanding something has to be done, and was appalled by the anger of the anti-smacking individuals,
Let the peoples voices be heard. |

UTOPIA OR BUST,
 |
hurrah for Jeremy Clarkson. got in trouble over kicking a thug robbing my car years ago in the backside. crazy thing is the same fella was in the court that day for robbing nine cars and just guess who got the bigger sentence. the man who gave a very light kick up the backside to the thug are the thug who ruined nine cars in one night. |

I couldn't agree more. It is the hoodie the police should be interviewing, not Mr Clarkson.
Successive governments have penalised manly courage. We have a public policy of cowardice and an actual public practice of bestial violence. |

Yes, yes, the ridiculous, mindless idiots; a slap is all they're worth, the majority of these "hooligans" (putting it lightly) are so called "chavers" although I very much doubt that many of them are as hard as they say they are.
And getting an experienced prime minister who has lived in the real world and therefore knows what the real, most important issues are may be an idea. After all it's the public who are concerned so let them decide, the sensible, worthy ones, including Jeremey Clarkson. |

Glad someone had the nerves to stand up against yobbish culture.
I work at a brand family fast food restaurant as an assistant manager and in the evenings, we are pestered by children from 10 - 15, who come into our store who purposefully mess around, use crude and racist language, steal and cause havoc, this costs our business more than their business is worth.
I have physically lifted these people out of the store to remove them and in many cases when they become know they are simply removed without being told, if they don't run out on sight of me. It has got to the stage where I have witnessed said offenders come to our door and walk away because I am there. I have been emptily threatened with legal proceedings by some which never materialise.
We use our staff who go to local schools to feed us information on the individuals, and keep a record of names and addresses should we need to pass these to the police. If offenders persist we contact the police with the names. We let the police know any time they visit the store we will call them to file a report, which certainly ensures the police take action.
But if you are going to take action always keep yourself covered, ensure you have witnesses / CCTV, use reasonable force if necessary, stay in control, show no fear. If you feel safer simply call the police.
There is nothing more satisfying than removing these people from our store, and in many cases customers have praised me and my staff for such a proactive approach. |

this guy is a hero,we should not let these ferral kids rule the streets, its stupid that we should feel scared to protect ourselves from people for fear of being prosecuted. |

i agree its time we took our streets back, from the scum that own them. roll on the revolution!!. we have to start fighting back NOW before it really is too late. |

Totally agree. It's time we started to stick up for ourselves and I don't just mean against hooligans. We need to be more like the French and not allow anyone to walk all over us, government, EU, and anyone else that is trying to undermine our way of life. Enough is enough. |
