Why are Children hostages of Visitation Rights, Women Prisoners of America?

Many foreign women are prisoners of the US. They can't go home without fear of losing their children. People say it is a choice/voluntary but in reality it is no choice at all. Mothers will die for their children let alone be prisoners for them. Even American women suffer, if they marry military some have to live separately if deployed overseas for 3 years and maintain the expenses of that separate household. This can cause divorces is loving relationships because the ex can legally control the situation. Even moving out of state comes with hurdles and court dates and not all situations are granted.
Why isn't termination of parental rights granted more often? Yes a male role model is important in children's lives but there is no distinction between a loving step father, grand father, best friend/neighbor or biological father.
Most often men who contest moving are trying to inflict emotional abuse on the ex-wife and even control them. Sometimes the husband knows the mother's family has money and is hoping to control the child's inheritance. Rarely is the father doing it to protect the child because the child has no other male influence - the only real reason to be a parent/visit in the first place.
If this isn't solved, parental kidnapping will increase, especially with the economy the way it is.
How can we solve this problem? Will termination of parental rights become more common or will kidnapping?

Easy solution. Women should stop making babies with men who are possessive or who have other priorities (such as military). These days people get married, get a divorce a couple years later, have kids out of marriage, have kids with dead-beat dads, have kids without strong financial plans.
Women need to take responsibilty of who they choose as their child's father. |
