To depose Saddam Hussein.
He was an evil dictator, who slaughtere his own people.
He "was" seeking weapons of mass destruction, and has admitted to it on tapes that the Government had, but, did not release until recently. (No, not doctored up ones, either).
He sponsored and harbored Terrorists.
He gassed 5000 of his own people, the Kurds!
So, we went in and got rid of him, now, we are tying to establish a new Government so we can get out when its permissable.
