I'm sorry but I really find it inconcievable why people can still believe that Bush is a great President. After admitting that he outright lied on certain issues, didn't acquire correct evidence to support an unjust war and cause a rift not only among the international community but also the American population, how can people still say he's doing a good job? Seriously I would like to hear from both sides, why do you think people still support this man? Why?

Because uneducated, ill-traveled, middle-American religious zealots can't think for themselves, nor do they want to. They only adhere to what the government feeds them by way of soundbites/video (both Republican and Democrats), and refuse to pick up a book and practice their intellectual curiosity. |

I don't think you have a majority saying he is a 'great' President... I for one think he is a bit above average. He has a lot of stances I agree with (Tax cuts, slow growth economy, staying with the effort in Iraq, etc)... and some things I do not agree with (No child left behind, lax on border control, etc)
And AGAIN... the war was J-U-S-T-I-F-I-E-D.... the continual violations the the cease fire agreement justified additional action... it just should have been done long before Bush got into office by either GHWB doing it right the first time, or Clinton acting when he should have when Saddam would not comply..... so stop with this 'unjust war' crapola |

The same reason people support a President that is best known for getting BJ in oval office, because this is the USA and we can support whoever we want no matter how depraved the person is. Its one of our freedoms
Just as complaining about the President is OK try in Iran, Cuba,China, N. Korea and see what happens.
If you can't handle others views move to one of the afar mentioned places. |

The small majority of people that still support GW are of the same mind set as him, not wanting to admit that they made a mistake. He's only got a few years in office left, I hope the country can survive that long. Hard telling what lies ahead. |
