I doubt the immigrants had anything to do with the price of gas going up, they have to buy gas like everyone else does. I'm sure we can blame them for the price of food, utilities and cable going up too. What the heck, I think we should just blame them for welfare mothers, veterans benefits and the war in Iraq as well. There, do you feel better now?

thats exactly why, the immigrants come over here and unemployment has gone up cos they take all our jobs at minimum wage, they get given 12 bedroom houses for the whole family and then take all the benifits they can get. Then they blow up our transport systems. and complain cos they say were racist.

The biggest factors are that the value of the dollar is down compared to other countries and that people have been trading oil to counteract that. Because of this, the price of oil has skyrocketed. When that goes up, so does the price of gas. And, in a domino effect, the price of everything else goes up because it costs more to make it and transport it. Unfortunately, most employers are not willing to give large enough raises so that their employees can cover the rising cost of living. The economy is flagging and its going to hurt everyone's pockets.

My opinion is the value of Money. Then again, wasn't money the root of all evil? Money and the supposed importance of it does explain much of the evils of this world. Then again, the USA is housed with immigrants. We took the land from the True Americans, the Native Americans, we also "go there for vacation!" (Rage against the Machine)

Prices are going up due to increases in oil and fuel . Think about it , you get something bought in on a transport truck .. they use to pay $ 1.00 a lt for fuel , now they pay $2.00... obviously they have to balance out the difference somehow.

sweetheart the immigrants have been coming here for over a 100 years. Things are going up because of gas prices, the value of the dollar & the federal reserve which are both not doing well. It has to do with the recession, it has to do with people relying too much on credit! It has to do with people buying houses and cars they can't afford and defaulting on them. You can blame the president for not boosting wages! It also has to do with companies out-sourcing jobs to other countries because it is cheaper. We have people living off the welfare system instead of using it to get their feet on the ground. I agree I don't like the illegal immigrants feeding off our system - but they aren't the single route of the problem.

why don't they create a cheap way to make renweable energy etc. oild petrol....all that kinda stuff isn't helping
inflation is going through the roof...they say they are trying to reduce inflation...apparently they can't help it...but all they are doing is making it go up. just because they are rich, doesn't mean that the average citizrns out there can afford multi milloin dollar stuff, to get around in!.....it makes me angry!
