Why is it you can find all kinds of articles about property damage?

The Republicans have always had a higher class of people in their corner. I did not say rich for most of us are not. We just don't do things like protest against anything until now. Obama has gone to far with all his spending and taxing that the Republicans had to come out of the wall and do something to protest his extravagances. He is leading our country into a dept that will take centuries to pay back. Most of our hard earned money will go for taxes now. The media are all liberal therefore they do not want the people to know what the tea party is all about. We are having this tea party on tax day to tell the Democratic Congress that we have had enough of Obama and of them for spending our money foolishly by bailing out the banks and automobile companies, for spending two much money and making us pay far more tax then we should. He has taken the American dream away from us and straddled us with dept. So the tea parties are going on all over America to protest. Since the media is not recognizing them, I hope every town, city and state will let the people know why we are having the tea parties. The Republicans have just as much right to a protest as the liberals and it should be recognized by the media just like it would have been if the liberals were doing it.

I don't know what's happened down your way, but honestly, I haven't seen "all kinds of articles about property damage during liberal anti-war protests."

I did a "Google News" search on "damage" and "protest" and mostly got stuff on Thailand.

I excluded Thailand, and still didn't get a whole bunch of articles on Liberal damage.

I've been involved in several demonstrations, public marches, and such, and the organizers have always been careful to make sure people follow the laws, and been respectful to the rest of the public.

The reason is simple- you're not going to convince anyone to vote your way if you just caused $500 in damage to their car, or broke their windows.

That being said, some people do glom onto causes so they CAN vandalize. Think Abortion Clinic Bombers (on the Right) and the Earth Liberation Front (on the Left). Both groups are frankly more interested in damaging than convincing people of anything.

Wow. Scott, you seem to be a little biased in your questioning, huh?

I wouldn't call tea party goers "normal" Americans. I would call them just as brainwashed and ignorant as the liberal idiots of the world. Where were these Republican spendthrifts when Bush was running up massive deficits? Even without the war spending, his fiscal policy was absurd. For any incumbent Republican to point the finger is complete hypocrisy.
