Will a US arrest that was dropped and expunged affect an application for US Entry Waiver?

I am a Canadian who has received a US Entry Waiver for a previous record in Canada.
I have had this waiver for 5 years and I am now preparing to re-apply for a renewal of this waiver.
About 4 years ago, I was arrested in the United States, although the charge was dropped and the record expunged.

How will this impact my application for US Entry Waiver this time around?

Even IF the charges were dropped and expunged, there is still a record left. The only difference between and expunged record and a normal record is the accessibility of the arrest record by the public. When your record is expunged, it's sent to a different place where all the other expunged records are. It is never thrown out or deleted. These are only accessible by the government or by law enforcement. Make sure you tell them the truth about your record since it will still show up on a background check by the government. Good luck.

IF, and I repeat IF the charges were dropped and the the record was in fact expunged, there effectively is no record of it! That's what expunging of the record does.
