one should not consider it ..but the sad situation is that nobody will look it with humanism and empathy...it will be a blasting news for channels and a hot topic of debate for politicians...this is how it works

as long as the labourer did not hurt or kill anyone i dont think he will be labelled as a terrorist . i guess he only wanted some food . if convicted , he might be released from jail soon . any judge will treat him rather leniently .

but your scenario is unrealistic . if i were a hotel employee i would mix some sleeping pills or something in the food and get him arrested when he is asleep . no offence , but i dont think you will look kindly on someone who threatens to kill you either .

as for incredible india , most people whose living standards improved are basically low-middle class people who worked hard without breaking any rules to get money .
if you really want to punish someone , go for the politicians . they are the ones who are taking away people's money .

eg. the upa govt . introduced rural employment scheme and west bengal government (which is supposed to be pro-poor) did not implement it properly . so ,why are the poor repeatedly voting for the communist party ?
change them first and then think of looting the law-abiding middle class .

I don't think so. Not so much the color of a persons skin, but where they are from. There are many people who have dark skin in America, but if you grew up here then you can tell each race apart. Except people from the eastern countries like India, Pakistan, Iraq, Iran and surrounding countries. They are harder to tell apart.
