Will the drugs ever stop ( Violence too ) if the fight continues against drugs?

More than 10,670 people have died in drug violence since then, about 10 percent of them police and troops killed in the line of duty. The rest have been smugglers, many killed by rival gang members, the government says.

I was told in 1968 that all drugs will be gone in 40 years. ( Forty years have gone and drugs are still around)

Drug use will continue. What did prohibition of alcohol do in America? Fueled the addiction problem and created and supported violence (mafioso & rumrunners). It's exactly what is happening now. It didn't work then, and it still will not work.

Decriminalization is the only solution to the drug problem. It would result in a net gain for public health.
