With Sharia law becoming 'legal' in the UK, it just reminds me of Nazi laws in Germany?

If Muslims want to practice Sharia law, and they don't want to integrate they should move to an Islamic country. I'm fed up with them coming to Britain accepting our hospitality, then pissing on us. Women in Britain have fought long and hard to be equal to men, and it shouldn't be undermined by misogynistic Muslim laws, from a depraved bunch of religious fanatics.

The words racist, bigoted, ignorant & in tolerable come to mind when you mention Sharia Law. We already have a system in place in Britain. These people have no time & space for people outside of their religion yet we tolerate these racist bigots which to me beggars belief.

I am going to be thought of as racist and bigoted etc. with my answer but I am not (like you are going to believe that).
If a person from a foreign country comes and makes a home in another country then they should respect the laws of this country.
Other religions like Judaism, Sikh's etc. have got a small but significant number in this country but nothing is really heard of them in the news etc.. because they respect the law of this country, they may very well have there own courts etc, but it is done without fuss.
We have already had to adapt more than we have had to for other race/religions for the Islamic faith as it is (some schools not putting on nativity plays, and banks stopping having piggy banks because the pig is seen as a dirty animal in Islam) why should we have to change our national law to accommodate these people.
We are already harbouring dangerous people (who could be a threat to us because we can't deport them because they start singing the 'human rights' tune. I think we have to stop and think exactly where we are going and think where we want to go looking forward as we are indeed in grave danger of becoming a westernised Shari law country.
This would not be good for anyone.
It would not be good for British because they would lose there identity and it would also not be good for the Muslims who are leaving there home country because there were scared, or forced out of their homeland because of the certain aspects of the law (forced marriages, political persecution etc).
Our law is not perfect by any means but it does cover all nations and all faiths and is not biased (in theory) to any one section of the community. Maybe we should think of that before we go down this route.

Absolutely the worst thing to allow in OUR country. I doubt we could go over to a muslim country and build a church or open a bacon sandwich shop. I cannot believe the people in charge are letting it go on. Why don't they just demolish all the war memorials and build a kebab shop or a mosque on top, what an insult to the people who died/will die trying to make this country the best it can be.

I believe that only certain element of sharia law are being introduced, and that they are only to settle disputes among muslims and do not affect other cultures within the U.K.

Yes you are totally wrong. Use of the sharia courts is voluntary.

It gives Sharia courts the same status as other arbitration mechanisms in the UK.

It does not mean that anyone has to use these courts, or that anyone is subject to the rulings of these courts who hasn't already agreed to it.

But, having defended Sharia as a dispute resolution mechanism in the past, I have to express concern that some Muslims, particularly women might come under undue pressure to use this rather than the Law Courts.

Let's watch and see. As others have pointed out, many religions have such mechanisms for family and other civil matters. If this denies proper justice to some vulnerable Muslims action needs to be taken.

What must be clear is that the non-Muslim population have nothing to fear from Sharia courts in UK - they cannot rule on criminal matters nor arbitrate unless all parties have agreed to accept their results.

How does this relate to Nazi Germany?
