If I knew my child murdered someone, you bet I would turn him/her in. It would be WRONG to do otherwise. Additionally, having knowledge of the crime could be an obstruction of justice without reporting it. Is it worth jail time for that if proven by the authorities? I don't think so.
For example, the young woman in Florida who is accused of murdering her 3 year old child, authorities are looking into the mother's parents and whether they knew about Caylee's murder. If proven, they could go to jail.
It's a tough decision, but it is the right one. This seems to me there a lack of moral conscience with some who wouldn't report it; an attitude becoming more common in American society. |

yes, and even fight to convict him/her in court and seek death penalty. murder cannot be just allowed like this. 1 murder of any age, any gender, and ethnicity, by anyone should be convicted and killed. an eye for an eye, thats how it should be |

Yes, it would kill me but yes. My boys turned out to be such good people it would be hard to imagine. But I would turn them in because they were not raised that way. I could not let my beloved child get away with inflicting such agony on another parent. I could not live with myself knowing that another parent was suffering because of something my son did. |
