Somehow I doubt that others with an "undisclosed medical condition" would get this treatment, and since when is being super rich and spoiled a medical condition. Wonder how much the sheriff out there is taking to the bank on this deal?

Don't you think everyone will have their bank accounts examined after this? I don't think all the joy that's been taken in her jail time has been warrented, last nights Leno monologue was so tasteless it was disgusting. She hurt no one, caused no damage, and was so minimally 'drunk' that she barely made it. The average jail time for what she did was ten to twenty days. They gave her forty five to start. I don't think I need to pay for her incarceration house arrest is fine. If you and I went to jail for that, no one would notice and when we got out we could pretty much resume our lives with no one noticing, shes going to have to live with a raft of bad body cavity jokes for the rest of her life, that's a sentence worst than any a judge could have come up with.
She broke her probation by driving on a suspended license twice. Not for DUI. The justice system will survive.
And I don't think I asked for her to get out of jail free, just recognition that this wasn't a case to get excited about if it were Ms Nobody.

ya it would

Money is EVERYTHING in America's corrupt system of criminal "justice." This is just one more proof of that.

WATCH for the NEXT magic trick: It's almost certain that worthless Warmonger-in-Thief Bush will pardon that worthless felon, Scooter Libby.

How much longer will the American people sit back and TAKE crap like this?

(To "justagrandma" -- She got the 45-day sentence for BREAKING her probation. May I suggest you keep up with the facts, before asking for our criminal "justice" system to give free passes to the rich/powerful/famous?)

What medical reasons? I've never heard some somebody being released from jail due to medical reasons. Don't they just usually let them suffer and die in prison?

I think its sad....lil'kim went to jail why can't she!

scottish football ....nuff said
money has always had this effect on jail sentences.....its not new.....if you can afford a good lawyer he can also search for loopholes......does that make her a criminal or does it make the rest of us dumb.......
the whole of the USA legal system wont crumble because a spoilt lady of leisure gets off early.....lets not get carried away here......

make room for daddy
The legal system is just that, a system. With the right lawyer to go to bat for you and you to can get a reduced sentence. Is she spoiled? Of course. Jealous? Why should we be? It isn't our **** all over the inter net with someone's appendage sticking in it. Sad, but, the media keeps piling on.

Yes, it would be nice to be that rich.

I'd guess with the name like "Hilton" you can get away with anything.

The judge who signed off on this is in Papa Hilton's back pocket. This is a mockery of our legal system. My guess is Paris was horrified when she saw the public toilet.

They should have kept her locked up for a year. I bet the poor dear had a headache or something.

At least maybe all the "Paris goes to jail" media crap can go away now (well, maybe in two weeks or so, anyway!).

yup

Mr Ed
The sad thing is the message that is getting out, that there is one law for the rich and another for everybody else. Perhaps there is a legitimate reason, but since we don't know about it, it is certainly very poor "education" to us , the public!
She may have a serious mental disorder, for instance. And it is not too pleasant to make that fact known. But a poorer person would not have their privacy protected to that extent: if a judge chose to put a person under house arrest because of a mental illness, the authorities wouldn't hesitate to explain.
I'm nos even suggesting that is the reason - only that whatever the reason, if it is good enough, it should be divulged, in order to avoid the wrong message getting out.

Alterfemego
Probably the next election! And that goes for the judge as well. No recalling what she was charged with orginially, I won't spectulate on her sentence. But it only seems fair that she serve what was pronouced due to her breaking her probation. Color of/and money

Since none of us common mortals know what this mysterious & unknown "undisclosed medical condition" really is, I wouldn't be so quick to judge if I were you!
