It is a modesty issue, and no one should take offense to it. The women choose to veil themselves out of respect for other women and men nd themselves.
Why do nuns cover up? Out of respect for themselves, men and other women.
By wearing hijabs(head covers) women are not secluding themselves. They got to school, go shopping, out with friends and family. They have an extra accessory on, what about women who bare their breasts, and lets say they are horrible and saggy and discolored? Do you want to see that? Do you think they should show some discretion? If you had the most beautiful woman in the world, would you want men gawking at her or trying to pull her away from you? I doubt it.
If you cared so much about God and your country, you would show some respect with His name and not cursing in the same sentence.
Go to school, be worldly, come out of your closet from behind the computer screen. |

If I had a choice, I'd ban people from wearing Burberry and Ben Sherman shirts instead. People who wear those generally cause considerably more trouble than our Muslim population. |

it's a free country and unlike some where you are forced to cover up here you have a choice and you can use your freedom how you like and really you or me or anybody can't do anything about it but it's better this way than how it is in Arabia for example. and some Muslim would agree with you and some non-Muslim would disagree. |

Our country is not damned by God. Not yet anyway. I don't think that Muslims should, however, be able to wear veils that cover almost all their faces. I don't understand why they can do what they like here but we can't do what we like in their countries. And how come they can wear those awful things but a lady working for BA can't wear a cross round her neck?????????????? |
