"We'll I already have an attorney and I'm going to take this further. What would be the best way of going about this and taking legal action"
First, fire your attorney since either he/she doesn't know how to do this, or you don't trust him/her. Then, find a new attorney that does know how to take a corporation to court, and do what he/she tells you to do. |

uh...yes you can kill someone with your teeth..
So I'd take legal action fictionally; because in the real world, you threatened someone, and it's your bad, joke or no.
And quickly; before this one is suspended as well.
Nice knowing you.
BTW? What legal right do you have to see questions in a banned account? RIght to life, liberty, and internet diversion? |

It is a free service that doesn't cost you 1 cent.
If you don't like it, move on to another site.
I agree that they tend to go overboard.
But with all the thinly-veiled threats I see on here daily, it is of no surprise that they are acting heavy handed. |

If you already have a lawyer then why are you asking what is the best way to go about this and take legal action? I think you should get a team of high profile lawyers, like OJ had and go get 'em. |

My recommendation would be to grow up. You have no legal standing. |

This is a private forum. You have no right to have an account on here and agreed to the Yahoo TOS when you set up your account and started using it. Your answer, even if joking, violated the TOS.
Can you sue? Yes. Will you win? Not a chance. In fact, you'd probably end up having to pay Yahoo's attorney fees. And believe me, they aren't using cheap lawyers. |

you have a lot to learn little one.
forget the lawsuit.
you'll be lucky if you don't get a visit from the authorities and your worried about Y!A????

Where in the Constitution does it entitle you to have a Yahoo account? Good luck with your legal action. |

Clearly you still have the ability to post and this is Yahoo's site. Yahoo own the site and can control its content by allowing whomever they want on it. If you do something stupid and violate the rules that is your problem, not theirs. So what exactly are you getting your undies in a bunch about? Yahoo is doing nothing wrong or illegal. No laws of any kind have been violated and you have no legal standing at all.
Overall this is about the stupidest thing I have seen posted on YA in weeks. Go cry to mommy. |

1. Your asking how to sue Yahoo on Y!Answers? That's kinda silly.
2. What you did was in violation of the user guidelines and could actually be considered a criminal action.
3. You have absolutely no loss, so WHAT pretell would you sue for?
4. You actually got a lawyer on this? Must be bottom of the barrel. In any event, ask the lawyer, not us.
5. Like you know, whatever. |

Someone else who thinks they can get something for nothing. Its cases like this that ties up our Judicial System.....But you do have a right to sue. |

What legal action? How were you damaged? So you can't post questions and answers on a message board with that username. Doesn't sound like anything legal at all. |

you can easily kill someone that way
Bite off certain body parts and they would bleed to death |

It's a free site, no pop-ups, no memberships... they could ban you if they felt like it and they'd be good from a legal standpoint, but the fact they banned you for a reason means you've got no chance. |

Or tell the truth, that you meant take out your false teeth and throw them at him? |

Go ahead and sue. Your lawyer will be billing you by the hour. I love when other lawyers get rich. |
