My son aged 13 has broken someones window with a stone. My son and his mates ran away from the home owner but my sons mate was caught, after he was bundled into there car and threated with a knife he gave them my sons name. They then rang the police and they came and arretsed my son.
Tomorrow we have to take him to the police station and we are expecting him to get a caution.
Today the home owner popped a note in our door demanding £200 for there window.
Does anyone know if my son is given a caution tomorrow do we have to pay the £200 for the window.
My wife wants to pay it and so would i if they hadnt kidnapped a kid off the street and threated him with a knife. If its left to me i will go down tomorrow and tell them to stick it up there arse. am i doing the right thing?
