I moved to the USA on an H1B Visa, with my mife and son, planning on opening a business with a friend as a subdivision of his business. After a few months, he told us that it was impossible for him to keep his promises because he wanted to invest in a new home, we contacted the immigration lawyer who assured us that we were able to transfer the HB Visa, to another company, in order for us to open up our own business. We were confident in what she had told us, otherwise we never would have invested in a business. The change of our HB visa has been declined, and after going through all the legal steps able to help us out, we decided in 2007 to sell our business, sell our house and go back to our homecountry, especially because our son wouldn\'t be able to have a driver license or go to college. I do insist that during the whole period, we always paid our taxes on time, employed dozens of American employes and had a successful business.
My question now is, starting 2007 we were according to the law, illegal,
Our son would like to go back to the USA for a vacation to stay with his friends, for two weeks. Do you think there would be any problems for him entering the country, he is only 16, so he is a minor. Thank your for responding to me, it would be greatly appreciated
