three years ago, 3 of my orphan nieces and nephew were sponsored for adoption by my brother and his wife in vancouver canada. it is a 10 year sponsorship agreement. lately, we got news from the kids ages 14, 16, 18, that they are being abused/harassed emotionally, physically and mentally by my brother's wife. my nephew run away and seek help from a policeman to send him home to the philippines but the policeman sent him back to my brother's custody. when we learned about it we, in the philippines, allowed my brother to send back my nephew to the philippines. His wife wants to send home the 3 kids but my 2 nieces refuse to come home. the eldest just graduated in high school with honors and was awarded 3 scholarships. Everything they dream for will be a waste if ever they come home. According to them, now all their dreams are shuttered and they fear about their future. How can we help the? I have another brother living near the place of my adopting brother but he is not qualifie to adopt the three children because is is single/not married and now jobless. he depends on the canadian government for his sustenence for one year. As of now, the three kids are with him seeking shelter because of fear from my sister in law... what shall we do? how can we help them? Please help us...
