This is a thought that I call excellent thinking. At least, BP assets in the USA should be confiscated until BP pays for all of the damages it has caused with this blunder by its management at the expense of Americans today and generations of Americans to come.
Isn't it bad enough that American corporations and companies are outsourcing our work, without foreign corporations moving into the USA and taking the jobs we have left in the USA. Besides what about the mineral rights to oil in the USA, are the mineral rights and profits being outsourced, too?

And why not do the same thing with the federal government since they have cost the taxpayers a hell of a lot more money in they mistakes and blunders and have harmed the environment a hell of a lot more than BP has. |

PETROLEUM, and no can just "cancel a contract". Be realistic. They didn't want this to happen either, and it will cost them hundreds of millions (maybe billions) in cleanup costs. Thats a pretty severe punishment in itself. |
