14.00 an hour good?

I live in wisconsin i have been hired as a administrive assistant 14.00 an hour i have one son i hope to advance in the company as a insurance agent when i pass the exam which is totaly seperate from the job divison ill be in.

That's close to $30,000 a year, I think that's probably a pretty good starting salary for your part of the country. If you were living in NYC I'd say it was a little low, but for the mid-west, I think you are doing okay.

That's roughly $30k a year, more with overtime. It's a decent rate of pay, although I'm not familiar with the standard rates in your part of the country. If you have a degree or certification you could probably get more.

Considering your grasp on adequate English I am amazed you have been hired.

That said, $14 an hour is decent money considering from what I understand Wisconsin is a moderately-priced city with good cost of living. The market is horrible as it is so any job you can get a decent wage is well worth it.

Brush up on your English and go for it. That is not something I would pass up.

Good start....my first job was.....55 cents an hour.......that was a long time ago.........freshman in high school.........your on the right track...keep going.........I retired with a 6 figure income....life is good.......worked hard to get where I am..........fat and happy..........
