20 Year Old Questions regarding work laws & regulations?

Hi guys i've just a few questions i'm wanting to know and the internet can get a little confusing at times to find what your actually looking for.
First of all i'll give a little backing as to what i do - I'm a team leader in a cafe/restaurant currently on £5 an hour working 5 days a week, the place is becoming very tight with finances so i just want to check there not doing me or anyone else that works there out of anything.

I know the national minimum wage at the moment stands at £4.83 and is to rise 10p or something in October But been a team leader i get the slightest bit extra, so £5.
But with me turning 20 on Wednesday should i expect my wage to rise?
I've seen signs on a notice board in the office regarding age and wages and it says that a 20 year old should get paid £5.80, is that minimum wage?
A worker had said something to the manager there about my wage increasing when i go 20 and apparently it was said that my wage will not be going up.

With it been summer time the place is getting quiet so everyone's down to there minimum contracted hours in my case 25 hours, are un-paid breaks included or excluded as part of the hours?
Sometimes when it's quiet we maybe asked to leave early, are they allowed to ask even if it means you may be doing a couple of hours less than your contracted to or is that decision up to you?

As far as I'm aware if you work 4 or more hours your entitled to a PAID 15mins, some days when i do 6 hours or more I'll get 2 UN-PAID 15 min breaks but when i'm doing 5 hours i'll get 1 UN-PAID 15min break, is that right?

Thanks your responses are much appreciated.

UK employment laws state that you should have a 20 minute break in each 6 hour shift, paid or unpaid. Its usually unpaid in small business's. They can ask you to go early if there is no work for you to do.

Minimum wage UK: £4.83 per hour for workers aged 18-21 inclusive
•£5.80 per hour for workers aged 22 years and older
You are being paid just a little bit more as you are a Team Leader. your company is not breaking any employment laws.

I copied this from the governments website and for every 6 hours you work you are entitled to a 20 minute break

* £5.80 - the main rate for workers aged 22 and over
* £4.83 - the 18-21 rate
* £3.57 - the 16-17 rate for workers above school leaving age but under 18

unless written into your contract age has nothing to do with your hourly pay rate! Its up to you to neogate if you want a pay increase maybe at your yearly review.

Unpaid 15 mins is correct some companys pay some don't there are not olbiged to under law

(This is irish law but both would be similiar)

you are entitled to 15mins break after hours worked and 30 mins after 6 hours
