A certain job?

I want to try to get in the field of working with gangs and maybe juveniles.. im not sure what the position is called but someone said a Social worker. Anyone know the schooling needed and maybe if its a goodjob and the pay.. i just find gangs interesting and want to work and help people in them

how about a juvenile probation officer or corrections officer in a juve hall

Try juvenile corrections officer, always hiring in any county.
Or national CASA, always needed, does similar intervention.....

No experience required for either. Correction officers is a paid job, CASA is a volunteer only but you learn legal procedures.

You need a college degree and the job that would fit that category is Parole officer. You should have a 4 yr. degree in Criminal Justice . You would have to graduate and then apply to your state board of parole for an opening. The pay scale would be different in every state.

i dunno man the pay nah dude the pay isnt great and work is crazy hard and intence if you wanna do it go ahead bbut its gonna be crazy hours and stuff like that gooogle it :P
