Ok - how to put this.. I'm quite clever. I generally answer every question in a quiz show, I've proved myself twice against lawyers (without legal assistance) in courts of law and I have steered two companies through legal quagmires - again, without help and very succesfully.
I am now about to embark on a law degree. As it happens, both my Grandfather and Grandmother were both barristers - yet, blood lines do not a lawyer make... everyone thinks 'I'm clever'.
This isn't a quick boast - I'm really troubled by this - am I really up to this? I'm 28, run my own little marketing company... Oh God - what on earth am I thinking.... Am I heading for a fall?

EDIT - I'm English - but just looked at the LSAT thing - was astonished to get 90% - but God - they were hard. Good to get my brain working - but not an easy ride. Not that I expected Law to be easy, but you come from a family that do law like doing ABC and they seem to think you will just 'fall in and do it'. I'm scared - but very happy that I dealt with those questions - not easily - not at all, but comfortably. I can do anaylsys (though maybe not spelling ha ha). Ergh. Still. My brain hurts.

Who are you trying to convince? You have doubts, yes I am sure you are clever enough but the point is is this the path you want to go down. Is it just because it is expected of you that are considering pursuing it.
You will spend a large part of your life working and if you are brainy then you have lots of options open to you and a career in law may not be for you.
I have worked in the legal profession for 20 years and have met many an unhappy lawyer. Many say they trained because it was what their family expected but were not happy and felt that as they had worked to hard to qualify they had to keep going. |

If you scored higher than 80% on the LSAT, you should seriously consider Law School.
