hello,
so am i entitled to it? my workplace have told me the laws have changed on holiday pay now but as i leave in a week or so i would like to know is, do i get the remaining holiday pay after i go like you used to be able to?

Most companies don't give that to you once you quit. If you haven't used the days, you lost them. Sorry! |

in the UK employers usually take your annual holiday entitlement / 12. So if you get 24 days a year and u leave on 1st April [assuming the year starts jan 1st and ends 31st dec] you are entitled to take 2 days for each complete month....and if you take too much at the point of exit it will be deducted from final salary payment |

Well it depends, how long you have been with the company and company policy. When you mean holiday pay, do you mean acual holiday or vacation? Vacation you should be payed out what you have accrued. You only get holiday pay if you worked in the period that the date had occured. You should not get paid for holidays that you will not be employed with the company. |
