I was referred to work at Applebee's by my neighbor. Hes been working their for about 5 years already and told me to go apply. So i did, that was well about a month ago. I then started to show up almost everyday to speak to the managers and check up and spoke to them.Eventually one told me that she would try to get me to work in the front as a waiter or host. So i agreed and well 3 weeks later i go in for orientation, fill out some papers. At the orientation their was a 16 year old kid who was incredibly nervous and would barely even speak. After the orientation the HR said call me on Monday to get your schedules. So i did...nothing... shes on her day of Monday and Tuesday. The other kid already has his schedule. And they keep telling me that the HR will call me and give me my schedule but nothing. I called in again today early before they opened.. and Nothing... So im i going to get it or do i have to wait for my schedule for a while?

By the way the other kid who already has his hours is 16.......... im 19

Just be patient. I am sure she will get back to you; it would be completely un-businesslike of her not to. She will most likely get back to you tomorrow or Thursday, as it sounds like she had yesterday and today off. If she hasn't gotten back to you by this time, then call her and inquire about the position.
It sounds like you're going to have to wait for your schedule for a while, but don't worry; you'll eventually get it. She wouldn't have made you come in and go through the hiring process and then ignore you.
