No. You will need to fill in a timesheet every time you are due to sign and declare the hours you have worked over the last two weeks. They will ask for pay slips etc, and you will be deducted the amount you are being paid from you JSA.

No. If it is only for 4 hours a week, you can still claim Jobseeker's Allowance(JSA). You can claim Jobseeker's Allowance if you work for less than 16 hours a week, and are still available for, and actively seeking full time employment.
The amount of JSA you receive will be affected, though. As a single person, you are allowed to earn £5 a week before they deduct money from your benefit (you keep your wages, they don't touch that!). So, if you are aged 18-24, your weekly JSA entitlement is £46.85 a week. If you work for 4 hours, and earn £25, then they will take £20 off your JSA. So your weekly amount will be £26.85.
However....as you are only doing a month's work, you may only be paid at the end of the month. It would therefore only affect the week in which you get paid. So lets say you do 4 weeks work, and get paid £80 in one lump sum, and don't continue in the job. It will therefore only affect the JSA entitlement for that week (so that particular week, there will be no JSA)
Go into the Jobcentre tomorrow. Explain you have got a part time job. They will issue you with two forms. One is called an A15C. This is to put down details about the employer, how many hours you do, and how often you get paid. They will also give you a form called a B7. You bring this with you every two weeks when you sign on. On it, you record the days and hours you have worked, and any pay you have received.
Your weeks will start and end depending on your signing day. If you sign on a Wednesday, this is known as your "Benefit week ending day". Your week will start on a Thursday, and end on a Wednesday.

no, because you are working part time under 16 hours . However you must still declare it so you will receive the correct money. It keeps them happy knowing you are actively looking/trying work, also you could get into trouble if you do not keep them up to date
good luck
