I have just enrolled in a course Legal Secretary NVQ Level 2 and will go on to Level 3 (Diploma). I have been accepted to the college, and awaiting a start date.
I have just under a years experience working in an office, and C&G Data Input and C&G Word Processing 1st class passes.
What qualifications do you have? Was it hard finding a job after the course and what was your starting sallary?
I know pritty personal, but I am curious.

Legal secretaries in Litigation are in high demand in downtown Los Angeles. The starting salary assuming that you have at least 3 years of on-the-job legal experience is around $55,000 or about $25-28 per hour. Your current course studies does provide sufficient training that qualifies you as a legal secretary.

you can work for an attorney or for yourself. Attorneys might pay from $15/hr-$25/hr. If you work for yourself, the sky is the limit. |
