Go to the nearest office of Dept. of Labor- Wage and Hour Division and ask to speak to an investigator. Explain what happened in detail and ask them what steps can be taken to claim your lost wages.

Sincere advise is... approach the top management in the company and sort out the issue, tell your views and listen to them carefully. If you still dont get your rights, you may approach the local labour office. You will get the verdict in about 10 / 15 years time.

I went through this recently and it involved $7000 and thought I'd have to fight tooth and nail to get it. In the state I live, I called the Labor Board and told them the story. They told me it wasn't legal and sent some forms which said either in writing or in person I should demand my wages. The day I gave my notice I handed a letter to the owner saying if I didn't get paid by the next week in my final paycheck I would file a claim with the labor board. Well no check was issued so I filled out the paper work(which wasn't difficult). The company had 14 days to respond and day 14, I received a check. Had they not done that the state labor board has the right to investigate all their books. No company wants that. I called a lawyer friend and she said it would be too expensive and to use the labor board. They're free and they go to bat for you.

Hi..... Need some help and justice will definatly help you. But there is one problem. You need to go with legal professional wherein he/she asks for fees in Percentage you will earn after winning a case. And also you need to pay some time around 5-10 years atleast. If you are aware with laws and acts in Indian Pinnal codes then the case will solve in maximum 2 years or it will be managed by company outside of court which will also benefical to you. Just you need to check whether you have completed all the procedure about leaving a company already or anything misplaced.

Your company must be registered under some body ie stock broking, CA etc write to the parent body . Also send a letter to all the newspapers in town with copies of all relevant documents like appointment letter etc . Also you can send in a lawyers letter to the company asking them to pay up the pending amount .

A officer gave me a speeding ticket in 2009 I kept trying to see how much this ticket would be up until 2010 I was always told that the ticket was not found I told the clerk its been almost 3 months it should be in your system I gave her the ticket number,my name date of birth and still nothing. Now here it is 2011 I got pulled over for my tint and come to find out my license was suspended all because of that ticket. Come to find out the officer wrote my middle name to be by first name and my first name initial to be my middle name but my last name was correct. Now the clerk is telling me that is shy I was pulling up in their system because my first name is my middle name. I was so hot and still is because I dont feel I should be responsible for this ticket,on account of the officer mistake and he had my license to write the correct information now I will have to have my license reinstated and pay that ticket which is now a larger amount. I was thinking that I can sue or just get out of this situation due to error.
