Well I havent currently got to this part yet but im sure they have it on there, but when it ask me if i have commited a felony and what not should i put yes or no? Do you think they will do a background check on me?....or is my juvenile record sealed from them since i am 17 and it has been about 11 months and about 24 days since i have commited the felony and the action that was taken was that i was in juvenile detention for 2 weeks and got probation for 6 months and had 16 hours community service, since then I have done nothing wrong, so what should I do because I really need a job and do not want to work at any fast food places, tried it once and didnt like it at all.

I would put whatever you feel comfortable, and then if they ask you to come in for an interview just explain the situation, and if you do it in the right way, I'm sure they will let it by.. |

Wal mart has very strong integrity rules..as in lying, cheating stealing. if they find out about a lie they will fire you immediately. Ask the local police department if information about you will be released because you are a minor it might be sealed. Wal mart also has a no re-hire policy. If they mark your file "donot re-hire" that will be forever. There are certain reasons for quiting or being fired that they will re-hire but Im pretty sure integrity is not one of them. |

Part of Wal Marts hiring process includes a background check, along with a drug test. You should answer yes to the question about the felony. I do not believe that your juvenile records will be available to them, however if you answer no and they find out about it after you are hired, they will terminate employment on the spot.

Find out if your record is sealed. If it is, answer no. If it is not yet, find a job elsewhere until it is and you can answer no. If not, Wal Mart will always have that information on you and you might want to work for them some day in the future. |

Suggest you be truthful.
They will find out in any case; it will be worse if they do and you will be seen as lying; a bad start. And worse .
