This strange employee, a woman, was hired and acted normal for about a year. After which, she began to act strange. I thought her boyfriend was the problem, since she moved a great distance to be with him and then he lost his job. I think they met via the internet.
One day, she began to gossip a lot about management and she exposed her underwear to people, walking around with pants unzipped. Do you think she lost her mind? Subsequently, she was let go for other things.

Can't say, each person, and each situation, is different. If you fire them, you may disgruntle more of the work force. Try and help him or her first. Talk to the people like they are people, try and see if they can help you by telling you of the problem at hand for you to fix. Even if you can't fix, at least it looks like you care and that you are trying to help, that may alleviate some of the animosity. |
