At the local job centre....?

a lot of jobs are advertised with the letters LEP at the end. Anyone help me with what it means ?

Local employment partnership,a guy just started with Tesco who's on that scheme,i think the government pay a small bit towards his wage,around 15-20%,that gives the employer more incentive to hire them,only on temporary contracts i might add.But it depends which company you work for i suppose.

The Oracle

LEP stands for Local Employment Partership. It is where employers agree to work with Jobcentreplus to recruit staff (rather than just placing an advert).
