So im only 18. ive never had a job before. i just got a job and was supposed to go in for training but the training guy called me and said during the background check the couldn't find anything on me. what if they cant find anything on me at all? is it because i don't have anything to find ?

Your "public record" profile can only begin at 18. Therefore there is likely not to be much if anything that comes up under your SSN yet. It sounds like perhaps the company conducting the background check must not have explained that to your employer. |

That's good, hun. It means you haven't committed any crimes and your legal record is clean. That's what they were looking for.

They want to know if you have been arrested or on FBI's most wanted list. If you are, then you won't be able to get the position. I wouldn't worry about that. |

Yes, being 18 also could mean that they could not match your Social Security number within the database because you most likely do not have credit history either....this is not a bad thing, just clarify with the employer as to why they called you. |

If the training guy expect anything to show up tell it to him the reason he can't find anything on you is because you are clean.
