Sure, I know there are always those fast food places, but is there anything else higher.. If so what.. Im tired of flipping burgers for a living. Help? I thought about joining an academy for law enforcement, a cop, but where do i go to apply for that. and do i need college credit for it. Help with anything...

If you're outgoing and good with dealing with people, try working in sales or retail as a temporary job while you're going to school. I just got a job at Old Navy, and they were fast and easy to work with during the application process. Gap Inc is a great company to work for, and the discounts really do help. Everyone is really nice there, and even if you have no experience with retail, you can still get a job there. I just finished my 1st year of college, and had no experience with retail whatsoever before I got hired at Old Navy.
Keep pursuing your dream of becoming involved with Law Enforcement, no matter what. I advise you to stay in school and after two years at a community college to transfer to university, even though costs are high and may be tough to deal with. There is tons of financial aid out there, so stay in school. I hope this helped, and I wish you the best of luck in your pursuit of your career!

How about WalMart. They are always hiring. Or convenience stores. Pumping gas at some gas stations. Save your money and follow your dream to beecome a cop. I wish you best of luck. |

u could go back and get ur degree but if u can for any reason ucan apply as a garbage man.. i kno i kno...... u think dats a bad job but it is not u get paid ALOT or u can apply 4 constuction work any where.. it pays alot too u can go on the internet and search where u can apply in ur area dats my advice good luck!! |

well u can work at any car spa or u can work at a place that's across the street from your high school or collage for an after school job or convenient store or a thrift store!!! |

you should have a plan. Invest your time and a little bit of money right now on education so that you can be employable and competitive.
For a high school graduate - you just have to flip burger. I'm sorry! That's why parents always tell their kids to go and finish their education so when the times comes - they will not be in the same situation as you.
Get at least an AA degree - a 2 year education so you get yourself out of flipping burger temporarily. But still this is not enough. you still have to study farther - but at least you are out of a "high school graduate" only. Start from that - when you finish, go on to the next level - your major - in this stage, you can be whatever you want to be. An engineer, a doctor, an attorney, etc.etc.
Or if you want go to trade school and enroll for something like a plumber, or electrician so you can work in a construction industry, a painter, a cook (There's culinary art school you can go to to become a cook). You can study a bookkeeping - check out Heald College. They have programs that you can finish for 18 months and they will place you too. There is a school for a massager also. 18 months or 2 years.

Adult Community College-School
Library - Ask where you can get a certification to work in a Doctor's office - there are short courses for 1500.00 dollars you can take for a short time w/c includes hospital training or something like that.
This is just an idea - you have to find them in your community. Where I am - these are all available. |

Good for you!!! stay in school homie...DO NOT JOIN THE ARMY OR ANYTHING THAT HAS TO DO WITH FORCES...you will be send right to iraq. so stay in school, and get good grades....i hate them corporates burger places, if u want to flip burges, go somewhere where is NOT mcdonalds, burger king, hardies, or those big corporations...they are awful, and the food is poison. |
