Broken Overseas Service agreement?

I was working in IT company in India sice 2 and 1/2 years. I came to Uk for work assignment by signing the service agreement with comapny saying "We are sending you on a overseas training and its cost would be 3 Lakhs. It was isgned by my father as a gurantee".So, you have to pay the amount if you breach the agreement". When I resigned from Uk they did accept my resignation and now they are asking me and my father for the money otherwise they will go to court. I just want to know is the service agreement valid. In terms of Indian law they could bind me under the agreement. What step should I take further.

I was here for a work not for training what they have mentioned in their clause.
for details - In their letter they have said that they had money involved in recruititng new resource for them

Before your father signed any guarantee agreement, he must have understood the same and also kept a copy of that document. Only after examining the sme, some way out can be ascertained.

Read the document (hope you have a copy of it at least)- did it mention that they are sending you for the specified period. if no then the agreement means that they are sending you and there is no mention of coming back. Catch a lawyer and see whet best you can do to save your self.
