I plan to attend Southeastern Louisiana University, I plan to major in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education (I'm still deciding), can I also enroll in Ashworth College and take classes by mail for a Associates Degree so I can do a little Paralegal Studies before I become a teacher. I was going to try (I may not) minor in Business @ Southeastern so I wouldn't be able to do Paralegal Studies with them. But is it possible to do this?

Absolutly if you have the money and time! The only thing with that is, If you plan on doing finacial Aid or student loan...it only goes to one school.unless you do two different loans for both. Other then that stuff you are allowed to do that! =) |

As the previous poster stated if you have the time and money great. However, I obtained my paralegal certification over 3 years ago and I can assure you it will not be the same learning experience online. |

I am sure it is legal, and I doubt either school would have policies against it. As others have said, I wonder if you would be able to devote enough time to do well in both simultaneously. |

your best bet i think would be to do it all at the community college. you can do the paralegal stuff and get a degree in transfer studies to the university of your choice. you save cash, and the worry of whether or not you can do this or that. also you have more freedom to do whatever you want, and make all the stupid decisions you wish (especially if youre undecided) without breaking the bank. |
