regarding background check after a certain amount of time it wont show up in a background check. example the farther back a company searches the more it costs. So most only search 5 years back.
except , police, government and specal agencies, they search all the way back.

also a misdemeanor is nothing to stop you from doing anything you want. you probly cant work at a bank, but so what? I bet you would do good in a job that you can use your creative side. like web design, or game design

Now days all employers do a criminal back ground check... Because of the crime you will have a very limited job selection. Look at worthless checks as Stealing.. Employers usually do not hire a thief... Try Truck driving...or construction...

Yes, you don't have to list your misdemeanors just any felony

yes you can it was only a misdemeanor.you weren't convicted of anything.you don't have a record.
