I have recently been dismissed from work. I am going back to Spain in 3 weeks time after living and working in the UK for 2 years. Am I entitled to any benefit before I leave the country?

If you're living in the UK and you've been sacked then I believe you can claim Jobseeker's Allowance (although they never put the apostrophe in the right place).
If you quit your job then you can't claim for at least a month, maybe more.

All depends on whyyou have been dismissed.
They wil not look at you claim for 26 weeks if it was your fault that you got dismissed |

No. If you were dismissed it is considered that you put yourself out of work and they would not consider a claim for the first 6 weeks. |
