Can I suie my employer for wrongful termination if I was there less than a year?

Ask your attorney if they will do it for a percentage of the fine. Then if they won't it means you don't have a good case.
Unless you have contract you can be let go just because they don't want or need you without you even being told why.
Wrongful termination is rare but perhaps you have a good case.

jimmy
Yes....if the facts support your case. See your local labor office.(or equivalent). They are usually on the side of the employee.

Judy
The time you were there doesn't matter. What matters if it was really legally wrongful termination. In the US that is pretty hard to show.

Only if they gave you a one year contract. Otherwise, no.

Curtis S
sure you can as long as you have passed your probationary period, but I assure you it is an uphill battle to do so.

i would suggest letting it go, my father has been involved in a wrongful termination case for the past two years, unless you have a crazy strong case let it go.

Keith
Is your employer breaking a contract that you two had signed?

Wrongful termination is wrongful termination! You can sue even if you were there for a day.

There's no minimum amount of time for suing for wrongful termination. A lawyer can tell you if you have a valid case.
