Ihave finished school and my birthday is august 31st am i too young to get a job . Most of my freinds have.

You mean you're 16 on August 31? If so you are NOT too young to get a job - but you can't start before 28 June!. |

Legally, yes, you can work at 15. (It doesn't matter whether you have your NI card yet or not.)
The reality is though that many employers would not want to consider taking you on until you are at least 16, mainly because they would worry that you're not mature enough, and also I think some companies have it stated in their insurance that they can't employ people under 16. So you might be allowed to work legally, but that doesn't mean that you will actually find a job.
The places to try are small family-run shops and cafes who are less likely to be concerned with this. It is larger chains who will have a problem, and clearly pubs etc are out of the question. |

Yes you can work but there might be some restrictions on the total number of hours and the times that you can start and finish. |

Yes i the uk by law but i would try alot of places. Some places wont take you on as you wont be covered under their insurance guidlines as unfortunantly the insurance companys still class you as a minor. not all places though alot of fasion shops will employ you or you can try some small independant shops or you could do weekends at a salon but that doesnt pay great.

look around and ask, that is the way you will know if you can get jobs. be honest about your birthday. you dont get you National Insurance Number till your 16 but that doesnt matter really. you dont start paying national insurance till you get this.
some people may even give you cash every week. this is mainly in pubs and restaurants and locally owned shops. chain stores are diffrent and usually run through your bank account.. the younger you are the less they have to pay on minimum wage. |

you cant work full time but you can do work if it is under a certain amount of hours (i think its something like 15) and it obviously has to be out of school hours.
from the age of 13 i worked in my local corner shop to start with from 8-1 on a sat and then the same plus 9-4 on a sunday until i finished school and got a full time job. |
