If you are asking this question on Yahoo answers, as opposed to doing some legitimate internet research to find your answer, then I doubt both your ability and your commitment to attending law school.
Each state has a bar organization, which regulates the practice of law in that state. Each state has different qualifications and guidelines concerning who can be licensed to practice law. As a general rule, anyone can apply for law school, unless your criminal record is so severe that there is little likelihood of you getting along with others at the school.
First, you must graduate law school with a law degree, generally a J.D., or Juris Doctorate. Once you have the law degree, then you can make an application to the state bar to practice law.
One felony conviction, in the state of Texas, does not automatically render you ineligible to practice law. What you must do is make your application to practice law, and your application goes before the law committee to be voted on. The standard is your current fitness to practice law. So, if you have a felony, how serious was it, how long ago did it occur, and are you sufficiently rehabilited?
