Find answers to your legal question.

Can boss let me go because he found out i'm moving out of state end of the year?

I'm moving to Arizona for school (currently reside in New Hampshire)end of the year. I think my boss is going to let me go because of it, that can't be fair?

If you are in a "work at will" job, you can be fired or quit for any reason or no reason at all, and without notice. Fair? Maybe not. But it is probably legal. It sounds like you told your boss you would be leaving. Lesson learned: it's not always necessary to tell everyone everything the minute you know it.

If you have already put in a notice to your employer he does not have that right, you are to work up until your time is up if you have not put in a 2 weeks notice you might want to do so just to be on the safe side...:) if your employer lets you go before your time is up then you have some bigger issues to deal with.
