If you did not have an employment contract you are legally an "at will" employee. You can be dismissed at any time without cause, and they don't even need to tell you why. |

Yes you can. Some states are called at will states. That means that an employer can fire your at anytime. Even working for a company for 20 or 30 years, an employer can let you go . Been there, done that. |
