i think in the whole no, there a few professions not covered by this but the idea they have asked you to waive your rights then no. I take it you have the job already?

Why wouldnt you? You can choose not to and they will think tha tin the future what else will you choose not to do. Do it and then just do your job and go home and collect money at the end of the week.

No you have the right to choose. See the ACAS website for all relevant info

No you cant. Its a European and British legal right to limit hours and protect employees.
But it may be that the employer can make your life intolerable, until you leave anyway.
That then becomes Constructive Dismissal, and needs VERY careful record keeping if you wanted to win a case in court.
