Can i go to law school while working as a paralegal right out of college?

iam a freshman in college and have asked this question to so many advisors and people trying to help me. I know i want to do something in law. So i thought i can become a paralegal, and go to law school part time. i know it would take alot longer, but im not even sure if it is possible. so im wondering if i can even do it? thanks i appreciate it.

Most law schools with part time programs won't restrict how long you can work. I think the ABA limits the hours you can work during school session to 10 hours a week, for 1Ls that are full time. This is easy to get around, if you just talk to your dean/adviser when you get to law school.
But as long as the part time program offers courses during hours you can get away from work, they will be glad to take your money, provided you get in.
Also, some part time programs aren't too much longer then a full time program. The school I'm going to now offers part time programs that complete in as little as 4 years. |

I's possible, go for it. You would be in the environment of laws as being the paralegal. During your law school years, you willl be able to ask many questions to the licensed lawyers you work with. Also, the firm and its people would encourage and respect you for it. Good luck and stick with it, never give up. |
