i wasnt fired!
my manager told me that since the season was over i wouldnt have hours but legally theyre supposed to give me at least 4 hours a week
i went about 2-3 months without work
which was a huge strain on myself(college student)
and my grandmother
do i have a right to sue them for not giving me a reason for no hours
im so hurt and upset and i dont know if it is even worth it
i found a brand new job
but i dont know whether to call my old jobs corporate heads and talk to them about my issues
if anyone can help thanks!!!

Nope - legally they aren't required to do anything.
Move on to the next job - don't waste your time with the old job. Learn from it and move on.
Any court fees you would have if you DID sue would be gone when you lost your case. ANYONE can sue. Not everyone wins. |

They aren't required to give you hours - I'm not sure where you got that 4 hours a week requirement.
You did the right thing by looking for a new job - good luck in it. |

I don't think you have any legal right to sue. You CAN be laid off if there is no work. It happens all the time and it's very much legal. |

The laws vary from state to state. I doub't you have a case. If you are part-time, the employer probably just needs to show that you weren't needed. |
